The Mission of New Cornerstone Baptist Church is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, to baptize and to he spiritual, intellectual, minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, needs of one another in love as well as to all people.

SIGNIFICANT DATES

*  July 29, 1938 Cornerstone Baptist Church was organized by Rev. Junius Harry Logan at its first location 914 Linden Avenue

*   July 11, 1946 Cornerstone Baptist Church was authorized as a corporation in the State of Maryland as Cornerstone Baptist Church, Inc.

*   In 1949 Cornerstone moved into its third home, 1702 N. Laurens Street due to increase membership.

*   June 11, 1972 the congregation moved to the present site 1530 East Preston Street.

*   February 18, 1986, Founder and Pastor, Rev. Junius Harry Logan moved on to serve god.

*   February 19, 1986 Rev. David Tomlin headed New Conerstone Baptist Church as interim pastor
